WordPress Support Forums: 100 Replies In

As WordCamp US approached, I began considering how I wanted to spend Contributor Day at the WordPress conference. I reviewed the different options available through the WordPress Community and decided that Support would be a good fit for my skill set. I also thought it would be a manageable way in: answer a few tickets, see if I like the work, and meet a few people on the Support Team. It looked to be just the right amount of commitment. Have You Met Gary? Help Us Raise Awareness About Men’s Health Issues

Some 15 years ago, Liam first grew a beard. It was a goatee, if Liam’s memory serves him correctly. Shortly after he began sporting facial hair, a friend asked Liam, “What do you call that?” Upon reflection, Liam now appreciates that his friend was asking about the name of that style of beard. However, at the time, Liam thought his friend was, quite literally, asking the name of his beard. Then and there, Liam named his beard, Gary. Continue reading »

As communications designers, WordPress is an integral part of our everyday lives. We use it to publish our own content, as well as our clients’. From the occasional blog post to sharing event details around the country, WordPress is our go-to tool. We use it to sell products, collect donations and build e-mail marketing lists. Our primary focus is designing and developing custom WordPress themes. We’ve even recently begun to use the Genesis framework for select projects. Continue reading »
