Launching Start Local: A Podcast Focused on Supporting Businesses in Chester County

As local government leaders and health professionals extended business lock downs and stay-at-home orders, we were working to find ways to support our local business community. As a business, we’re based in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and with the dramatic downturn of the economy, we wanted to support our business neighbors. To that end, we recently launched a new podcast, Start Local.

Introducing the Start Local Podcast

A project with our friend and fellow local business owner, Joe Casabona, Start Local is a new podcast focused on helping businesses in Chester County, PA, and the greater Philly area as they navigate the COVID-19 economy. The aim of this new show is to help local business owners and leaders learn where to find help, to share stories of businesses which have successfully pivoted, and to document the real challenges local businesses are facing.

We’ve already published two episodes and have more lined up to share. We’re publishing every Friday of every week. Start Local is on iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and everywhere good podcasts are available.

Committed to Supporting Our Local Business Community

Since 2009, when Liam Dempsey relocated from Oxford, England, to Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Chester County has been our home. As we’ve come to meet and get to know our neighbors, this wonderful corner of the world has been so welcoming and good to us. Now, in a time of need, we’re eager to put our marketing and web design skills, and our podcasting experience, at the service of those around us. Through our new show, Start Local, we’re able to do so, all from our home office.
