Hogar de niñas Madre Albertina, also called The Girls Home, is a social outreach orphanage for young girls in Granada Nicaragua. The Madre Albertina’s order of nuns care for and nurture 25 orphaned girls whose families are unable or unwilling to care for them. Hogar de niñas Madre Albertina is a safe home for girls who have been mistreated, abused, raped, or whose carers struggle to adequately provide for them.
When our friends at Nice Images mentioned a need for a new website for Hogar de niñas Madre Albertina, we offered to build it for free. We were eager to help the children that call Hogar de niñas Madre Albertina home.
The new website — www.thegirlshome.com — was launched to coincide with a London-based fundraising event in May 2012.
We look forward to seeing the charity grow and continue to make a difference in the orphans’ lives.
