In an effort to make internet usage more pleasant for the mobile visitor, Google has begun rolling out a change to its mobile search rankings. This change, which came into effect on 21-April-2015, gives priority to those web pages which are considered mobile-friendly.

Now in its fourth year, the Philly Women in Technology Summit provided a powerful connection between supporting women who are currently working in technology and supporting adolescent girls who want to enter the industry. With the cold months of winter upon us, the little team at LBDesign decided to get to out-of-town industry conferences. Lauren Pittenger was the smarter of the two as she booked flights for Las Vegas. Liam Dempsey only managed to pick-up a speaking opportunity at a conference less than an hour away.
Making websites for charities has always been important for LBDesign. We frequently give presentations to help not-for-profits and charities in the UK and the US to share our knowledge and understanding of web design and online marketing.
Recently WordCamp landed in London, where Ngaire from our local London office decided to volunteer. In the past Ngaire has spoken at local WordPress Meetups and at WordCamp Lancaster, so she was looking forward to continuing her involvement in the community.

Europe saw its first Europe-wide WordCamp last weekend and we were thrilled to be on hand to take part. Skipping onto the continent from our London office, Ngaire Ackerley was happy to head to Leiden to be one of the 700 attendees at WordCamp Europe.
WordCamp Lancaster 2013 saw our own Ngaire Ackerley travel north from London for a lovely weekend of engaging and interesting presentations, sunshine and great company with a flowery mug and t-shirt to boot!
