We are very excited to announce the start of a new WordPress Meetup in suburban Philadelphia. The Philly ‘burbs WordPress Meetup will bridge the gap between those building WordPress sites and those using them on a daily basis. The group will focus on both design and development considerations as well as user concerns like expanded functionality and best practices. The conversation is all about WordPress.
The whole Philly region is an exciting hub of web-focused companies and communities. Our director, Liam Dempsey, was lucky enough to attend WordCamp Philly in October 2011. Since then, we’ve been eager to bring some of that wonderful WordPress community spirit out to the wider reaches of Greater Philadelphia.
The first meetup is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6th at 6:30 pm at the Sly Fox in Phoenixville, PA. Full meetup details are available on the Philly ‘burbs WordPress Meetup page. Come out and join us!
We are so pleased to be co-organising this new meetup with Coreen Tossona. Coreen is an amazing copywriter and marketing consultant who specialises in communications, brand strategy, and social media training and execution. Coreen blogs at inthecrowds.wordpress.com.
