We are delighted to report that, by all accounts, WordCamp Philly 2015 was a resounding success. The attendees, speakers, volunteers and sponsors all shared wonderful feedback about the quality, professionalism and friendly atmosphere of Philadelphia’s leading yearly WordPress conference.
Giving Back to the Community
As a for-profit business, LBDesign has benefited greatly from WordPress, the leading open-source content management system. We began using the software in 2007 and now use it exclusively on our new site builds. The value that we’ve received from this wonderful open source project is difficult to quantify – but we know that we’re so grateful for it. So, as a business, and as individuals, LBDesign is committed to giving back to the project and community.

Helping Organize a WordCamp
This year was Liam Dempsey’s second as a co-organizer of WordCamp Philly. In that role, he was privileged to join a team of WordPress professionals from some of the most amazing companies: WebDevStudios, 10Up, YIKES, Delta Angel and Automattic. Being on the inside of planning for a 350+ people, 2-day event enabled Liam to witness just how generous and talented the Philly area WordPress community is.
As we recover from all the work and excitement of last weekend, we are already starting to talk about what we could do to make next year even better.
Thanks to LeeAnn Kinney for the generous use of her photo of Lauren.
