With the cold months of winter upon us, the little team at LBDesign decided to get to out-of-town industry conferences. Lauren Pittenger was the smarter of the two as she booked flights for Las Vegas. Liam Dempsey only managed to pick-up a speaking opportunity at a conference less than an hour away.
Heading Out to Las Vegas
Lauren was honored to receive a scholarship to attend Prestige Conference in Las Vegas this weekend. The Prestige Conference is a business and career development conference geared towards freelancers, entrepreneurs and small shops operating in the digital marketplace. Though the conference won’t focus on programming or code, Lauren is excited to learn more about the business end of the digital marketplace.
Talking Version Control in Historic Lancaster, PA
As Lauren jumps onto a plane for a long trip west, Liam Dempsey will be putting the finishing touches on a presentation that he’ll deliver at WordCamp Lancaster. Liam is speaking about version control and will offer ideas on how to integrate it into workflow — and how to get it to work with a small web design and development team.
