MLK Give Back Day

With MLK Day of Service around the corner, we are looking forward to and preparing to be of service as a team in suburban Philadelphia. We will be joining volunteers to assemble bags of goods for those experiencing addiction in the Philadelphia community.

Blessing Bags for Those in Need

Charitable donations of food and drink

Hosted by the Abington Art Center, an art school and gallery in suburban Philadelphia, along with Angels in Motion, a group dedicated to helping those with addiction, volunteers will fill “blessing bags” with items such as snacks, drinks, clothing, hygiene products, and resources for getting help. The bags will also contain an encouraging note written by volunteers.

Serving Our Community

As a remotely distributed team in suburban Philadelphia, we are excited to get together to assist to those in need in our surrounding area, doing so with a group such as Angels in Motion which seeks to destigmatize addiction by offering compassion and viewing those suffering as individuals.

The event is happening on Monday, January 16th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Read more by visiting the Abington Art Center website.
