With December just around the corner, we are greatly looking forward to and busily preparing for WordCamp US, the largest WordPress conference ever to be held. For the second year in a row, WordCamp US will be held in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia.
This major software conference, organized by community volunteers, is expected to welcome as many as 3,000 attendees from all over the world to the Philadelphia Convention Center.
WordCamp US: A Conference for WordPress Designers, Developers, Users and More
With talks focused on a variety of different aspects of the open source software, WordCamp US provides great value for money not only for designers and developers but for bloggers and marketers, business owners, services providers, non-profit administrators and more. A single ticket for the two-day conference costs only $40, and it includes lunch on both days.

As one of the most generous communities in which we’re involved, the WordPress community continues to encourage and inspire us. As such, we have become active contributors to the community through organizing meetups, giving talks and spending the occasional weekend with our WordPress colleagues.
For the second year in a row, Liam is serving on the WordCamp US organizing team alongside several other generous and committed WordPress community members. While last year Lauren spoke at WordCamp US, this year she is taking a less visible role on the volunteer team.
