With December only a few weeks away, we are looking forward to attending one last WordCamp – the biggest WordCamp in the US, WordCamp US (WCUS).
Giving Back to the Community
If you haven’t heard yet, we really like supporting our WordPress community. Whether it’s organizing a WordCamp or a Meetup group, giving talks and presentations, or volunteering, giving back to WordPress is something about which we care a lot. It may come as no surprise that Liam has signed up to volunteer at this year’s WordCamp US.
Catching Up with Our WordPress People
Many of those who attend WordCamps are fellow designers, developers, writers and business owners. Over the years, we’ve gotten to know many of those who frequent the WordPress community. With WCUS on the horizon, we are looking forward to reconnecting with our WordPress friends and colleagues and meeting new people. We are also eager to build deeper connections within our WordPress community so that our entire community will benefit.
Visiting a New City
For the last two years, WordCamp US took place in our nearby city of Philadelphia. This year the conference is in Nashville, Tennessee. As a growing diverse city, Nashville has received accolades including being named the best city for women-led businesses and destination of the year. As neither Lauren nor Liam has ever been to Nashville, we are both looking forward to experiencing the culture of Music City, USA.
