Dr Carreira website
Dr Carreira is a leading surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy, foot and ankle surgery and arthroscopy. With offices near Miami, Florida, Dr Carreira is a team physician for a number of American professional sports teams.
When considering his online marketing efforts, Dr Carreira wanted an agency that he could trust to coach him through the project, create an engaging and functional design and bill him honestly for the work. He sought out lbdesign to help improve the visibility of his web presence.
Using Textpattern as the CMS, we created a bespoke website that would serve as a primary information portal for both existing and prospective patients. We also created ‘The Athlete’, a vector-illustration that can be used in both online and offline materials.
Of particular note is the domain name that we suggested, hipfootankle.com. As Dr Carreira focuses his practice on arthroscopic surgical procedures on those areas of the body, we wanted to use a catchy, memorable web address, especially given the difficulty some have with the spelling of Dr Carreira’s surname.
