We have been lucky enough to work with Lucy Fergus, a London-based artist from Glasgow, for a number of years now. Operating as re-silicone, Lucy crafts bespoke eco-conscious products and installations made from re-used rubber silicone. Our most recent project with Lucy involved updating the design of her website, infusing the structure with the power of Textpattern’s content management system (CMS).
As re-silicone has developed as a business, Lucy found her focus and work changing. We worked closely with Lucy in tailoring her website to meet her expanding and evolving needs. A key element of this project was implementing Textpattern as a CMS so that Lucy could update the content of her website. We also added a slide-show and a very cool javascript (and fully accessible) scroller to help keep the design frame universal across the website.
