As the snows of January become the snows of February, we launched a new website for Dominic Carreira, MD. Dr Carreira is a leading surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy, foot and ankle surgery and arthroscopy. With offices near Miami, Florida, Dr Carreira sought out lbdesign to help improve the visibility of his web presence.
We started by creating a bespoke website, based on detailed consultation and input from Dr Carreira. We worked closely with him to define his needs, intended audience and goals for the project. A key element of our work was creating a strong visual identity. We came up with ‘The Athlete’, a vector-illustration that can be used in both online and offline materials.
We knew going into the project that working with a busy medical professional who travels with professional sports teams would be both a thrill and a challenge. You can imagine how pleased we were when we received the following note from Dr Carreira when the site was launched:
Wow! I love the new website. It’s so much better than I ever imagined! The website will prove a great value to my medical practice. What’s more, you were very helpful and patient in answering my many questions about SEO and all things web.
