Heroes of Our Time at the LSE

The exhibition that we designed for SURF is now showing at the Atrium Gallery of the London School of Economics. Entitled Heroes of Our Time: Rwandan Courage & Survival, the exhibition details the lives of four survivors of the Rwandan genocide. The exhibition includes a great deal of background and historical information which give context to the daunting trauma which the four survivors struggled to overcome.
We worked closely with Survivors Fund and Nice Images on this important project. With SURF providing the written content, and Drew Sutton of Nice Images lending his amazing photos, we created the storyboards to tell the haunting – and yet hopeful – tale of the four survivors; Siméon Karamaga, Daphrose Mukangarambe, Cassien Mbanda and Ange Cendrine Mukayitesi.
This moving exhibition will be showing through 18 December 2009. Admittance is free, so it really is a must see. More details about the exhibition times and location are available on the LSE website.
